The medium-wire wire cutting machine tool is a kind of EDM wire cutting machine tool unique to China.      Since the refined cutting removes the metamorphic layers and stripes left by roughing, the surface roughness of the medium wire can stably reach Ra≤0.8µm, while the fast wire is usually only about Ra2.5µm.

    The high-speed characteristics of fast-moving wire are still maintained during roughing, and the cutting efficiency is high.Although the total time for multiple cutting is longer than that of a single fast wire, compared with copper wire cutting machines that achieve the same accuracy and finish, their comprehensive efficiency still has advantages and the cost is much lower.
